At Fiordalysia, creating a bridal gown is a collaborative journey. For a truly one-of-a-kind design, the process begins with an initial consultation, either online or in person, where we explore your vision and inspiration. I guide you through sketches and design options, helping select the final concept, followed by the choice of fabrics and detailed measurements.

A toile (mock-up) fitting comes next, allowing us to refine the fit and finalize design elements, followed by fittings in the actual fabric. Depending on the complexity of the gown, up to three fittings may be needed to perfect every detail. For gowns with embroidery or intricate detailing, the process typically takes 9 to 12 months, with express options of 3–6 months available for select designs.

Throughout the process, I provide guidance on materials and design choices while welcoming personal touches — whether it’s lace from a grandmother’s dress or a unique embroidery — making each gown a reflection of your story. The result is a timeless, couture creation, where precision, craftsmanship, and delicate details come together in a dress that is uniquely yours.
